Fire Station Field Trip, December 20, 2016

It was a great trip!   The kids were very excited when the bus was able to pull right into the fire station to drop us off!   Thank you Gorham Fire Department, we learned a lot about fire safety and we LOVED the newly renovated space!   

Snowflakes, Snowflakes, and more Snowflakes! December 14, 2016

We had a great time designing snowflakes with our "Fifthkins" for our Giant snowman. I love the snowflakes all of you created at home!  (all are up on our bulletin board, even though you can't see them all in one photo!   Thank you for sending them in.  Happy Holidays, we are all getting soooo excited!

It's Election Day!   Look at our Election Day art work!  

 Here is our ballot. We voted in our own special voting booths.  Here is the best part;  we got to vote for either a pajama day or a hat day for Thursday, November 10th.  We will count the votes on Wednesday and let you know which idea got the most votes.

Happy Halloween, October 31, 2016

We loved making our masks from our favorite Go Noodle character! We also loved visiting all of the other kindergarten classrooms today, ask your little "monster" what they did with each teacher!  Be safe and have fun!

Pumpkin Fun with our Fifthkins! October 21, 2016

Pumpkin Science was so much fun with our Fifthkins!  We measured, we estimated how many seeds inside, and we had to guess if our pumpkins would sink or float.  The most fun was when we got to put our pumpkins in a big tub of water to find the answer, sink or float?  The kids were very surprised!  

Kitchen tour was great! 10/14/16

Here we go, we are so excited!  First, we must get our hats!   We saw lots of exciting things in the kitchen.  The kids also had a chance to go in the walk in freezer, they were very quick to come back out!  They also loved seeing the dishwasher that only takes one minute, we were all envious of that!   We ended with tasting two yummy snacks that they serve. We tried a breakfast food and a lunch food. Ask your children if they remember what it was!  I was so impressed, everybody tried it!  Thank you Mrs. Blanchard for the invitation!

Welcome to an exciting year in Kindergarten! I'm ready to share some special activities! September 2016

We enjoyed learning about Monarch Butterflies!  The butterfly above was our last to be released.  So beautiful and so much fun for all of us!  (September 2016)

  ALL HANDS IN!    We are ready for a great year.  Thank you for the great start, all the support, keeping up with the communication in the folders,  and sending me such great kids!  I look forward to sharing their progress soon at fall conferences.   You will receive a notice this week to sign up for a conference.  I am looking forward to it!

We love our school!  It's been a great year, thank you for everything!  Please keep in touch, can't wait to watch you all learn and grow through the years.  I wish you all the healthy, happy, fun summer you deserve.  Don't forget these four rules wherever you go,  BE SAFE, BE KIND, BE GENTLE, and BE A LEARNER!
