Reading Strategies
We are learning about strategies to use when you come to unknown words in books. The word wall words are important, but kindergarten readers need learn what to do when they get to words they don't know. The first strategy we learned was to use our "Eagle Eye". Ask your child how they use their "Eagle Eye" to read.
The second strategy we learned was "Lips The Fish." Ask them how we use "Lips the Fish".
