The kindergarten students were ready to read after a fun February vacation! Every Wednesday, 5th grade readers come and read to us. We love our 5th grade friends!
100th Day Celebration
We have had a very special 100th day in kindergarten! We brought collections and weighed them, we also created a page for our new 100th day book, we grouped our collections by 10's, learned some new 100th day songs, exercised to 100 several different ways, and ended our day with a whole school parade. These are just a few things we did today! Ask your child all about it. We will be sending the 100th day book home after vacation. Tomorrow, we will celebrate Valentine's Day. We can't wait!
More Reading Strategies
We met Stretchy Snake today. Each learner has their own Stretchy Snake in their folder to practice with at home tonight or when you get a chance. We learned how to use this strategy for our writing and our reading.
